Michael E. Douroux

Michael was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. In the mid 1970's, he earned a BS and MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.

Upon graduation, Michael worked for IBM as part of the business team that was assigned to support Thomas Barr and David Boies who were the lead attorneys representing IBM in its landmark anti-trust suit with the U.S. Justice Department.

Michael subsequently moved to the entertainment industry where he was recruited by Alan F. Horn (current President and COO, Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.) to join legendary producer Norman Lear’s Tandem Productions as a business affairs executive. He eventually formed Douroux & Co. that represented writers, directors and cinematographers in the network prime time television series and major motion picture business.

Throughout his career, Michael has had a wide range of experience in financial services. For over 30 years, he has been an advocate on behalf of his clients' best interests.

The seeds of Financial Conservation were first planted when Michael suffered his own losses in the dot-com market drop. As he transitioned into the area of financial planning, it was with the focus and commitment of not letting any of his clients experience the same fate. Since then, Michael has consistently applied the principles of Financial Conservation to each and every one of his clients.

Michael has two sons, Michael and Nicholas; two grandsons, Anthony and Nicholas, Jr., and .lives in Hollywood, Florida.
